Since our founding in 2008, New York Chess & Games has consisted of a diverse team of bright minds, creative thinkers and chess teaching professionals. We have spent almost a decade of helping people from many different backgrounds and skill levels learn to play chess or learn to play chess better.

  We map out the specific needs of each student /client so they can easily identify the progress being made toward their goals. Our business is helping you improve your chess understanding, the quality of your play and your critical thinking skills.

HOW IT WORKS

Once you you register for classes, we will email and call you to confirm

 the date and time for your first chess lesson.

 We are open seven days a week and located at: 192 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, NY.

 You can take any train (N,Q,R,B,D,2,3,4,5, LIRR to Atlantic Avenue - Barclays Center station and walk 2 blocks south on Flatbush Avenue toward Dean Street to our building.

The scheduled days and times of your chess classes is completely flexible.

 During your first class, your instructor will discuss your chess goals and

then use our assessment tools to determine your level.

 They will then start you on a curriculum that best fits your level

and aspirations for the term of your classes.
